I’m hanging my Open Studios show at Secession on Monday, and then hanging another show at RAG Co-op in Hayes Valley on Tuesday. The reception at RAG is on Thursday, the Secession party is Friday, and then I’m at the studio all weekend for Open Studios. Whew! Hope I make it.

So, the events this week:

Reception on Thursday, September 29, 6-10pm

Reception on Friday, September 30, 6:30-9:30pm
Secession Art and Design, 3361 Mission St at Virginia, San Francisco

Open Studios Saturday and Sunday, October 1 & 2, 11am-7pm
Secession Art and Design, 3361 Mission St at Virginia, San Francisco

I hope you can make it to one or both of the show openings. If not, both shows will be up until November 27 – Secession has my very newest work, if you haven’t seen it, but RAG will have a great selection of recent pieces too.

I’m participating in the first weekend of Open Studios (Mission, Noe Valley, Bernal Heights, Castro, Excelsior neighborhoods) by hanging my latest and greatest work on the gallery walls of Secession Art and Design, where my studio is located.

Visit Secession Art and Design on October 1 or 2 to see my latest mixed-media paintings and my working studio – I’ll be there all day Saturday and Sunday, 11am-7pm, to tell you about my work and answer your questions. Joining me will be Hilary Williams, Rachel Znerold and Colleen Mauer, along with Secession’s curator, Eden Stein. It’s a great opportunity to view the newest work of several artists and get to know them a bit.

Also please come to our opening party on Friday, September 30, 6:30-9:30pm – it’s a great way to start off the Open Studios weekend. Have a glass of wine or some snacks with us – Secession promises to be very festive!

I’ll be showing my newer work at Andalu (3198 16th St, San Francisco) along with Sonya Philip from July 11 – August 8. Sonya is a fiber artist whose work I’ve always admired, and I’m honored to be showing with her.
