It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged. How the time passes! I’ve been busy with painting, which is going a bit slowly, and helping Eden at Secession prepare for her next show.
This is the latest painting I’ve been working on, which is the biggest I’ve done, at 30×30″. It’s, I think, nearly the biggest I’d attempt in my current space, which is a large tabletop easel on my painting station. I’m loving this color combination, which has been in my dreams a lot lately, and which I may use in reverse on some smaller pieces.
Right now, I’ve got a piece in a group show in Taos, New Mexico, and a piece in a group show in Lexington, Kentucky. I’m preparing to show at the Marin Art Festival June 20-21. I haven’t done an art fair on this scale before, and I’m feeling slightly overwhelmed by the prep right now. I have a very long to-do list. But I also have great people willing to help me, and I’m sure I’ll get it all done.
If you’d like to get free admission to the Marin Art Festival, make sure I have your mailing address and I will send you a card good for free attendance on both days.
